Arlington Sportsman's Club provides a variety of fun and inclusive shooting experiences across a wide range of disciplines. We cultivate a welcoming environment with activities to sportsmen of all skill levels.
Club Matches
The heartbeat of the ASC Calendar is the seventeen (17) monthly Club Matches. All of these are intended to create a fun opportunity to shoot for novice and experienced sportsmen alike. None of these matches are sanctioned and remain open to all ASC members, their invited guests, and visitors.
Please see the ASC Calendar tab of the website for the timing and location details of each ASC Club Match. Page 13 of the full year calendar, also available through the Match Detail link on the ASC Calendar page, includes the contact information for each Match Director. We encourage interested attendees to reach out to the Match Director with any questions.
Shotgun Sports Leagues
Throughout the year our Shotgun Sports program will form various leagues that focus on varying disciplines such as 12 Gauge Skeet, Skeet Doubles, Standard Trap, Trap Doubles, and Field Targets across Sporting Clays and 5-Stand. Leagues will meet weekly in the evenings providing an opportunity for participants to test their skills in a friendly competitive environment.
Club Meetings
Club Meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the third Tuesday of every month. Members, family, friends, and visitors are all welcome to attend. ASC provides the dinner entree while attendees are encourages to bring a side dish or dessert. The meeting each month will feature a speaker covering a wide variety of topics.
Annual Awards Banquet
Each February the Club gathers to recognize the accomplishments of the organization and its members over the past year. This ticketed event, featuring a catered dinner, is a longstanding tradition for our Club. Our Club Match and event winners are highlighted and members with special accomplishments at ASC are recognized.
Work Parties
ASC operates under a robust all-volunteer model to maintain our ranges and facilities. Twice a year all ASC facilities are closed to normal operation and members are encouraged to come out and "take care of their club." It gives ASC Members the pride of ownership in their Club through firsthand involvement in tackling maintenance items across the facilities.
Fourth of July Swap Meet and Picnic
Around each July 4th we gather as a Club to celebrate Independence Day and share in the fellowship of the holiday. Members bring a variety of items to swap with each other in this private event where commercial vendors are prohibited. The group then gathers for a BBQ lunch as the swap meet concludes.
ASC Youth Day
Once a year ASC closes all of its facilities to normal operations to provide introductory experiences to youth shooters. We feature stations across the Archery, Rifle, and Shotgun disciplines that allow youth to learn about and participate in the various sports within a highly controlled environment.
ASC Ladies Day
Annual event designed to encourage and empower ladies of all shooting experience levels to come together and enjoy a day at the range. This event focuses on shared experiences and participation in the various shooting disciplines across Archery, Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun Sports.
